1. Scope

This policy applies to all tuition payments made to 4Front Emergency Training Center for any program including but not limited to the Hero Evolution Self-Paced EMT Program and the Hero Forge In-Person EMT Program. It applies to all payment stages: deposits, pre-orientation or pre-class payments, and final balance payments.

2. Non-Refundable Policy

No refund, partial or full, will be issued under any circumstances once a payment has been submitted and confirmed. This policy applies equally to all students regardless of the reason for non-completion or withdrawal.

Non-refundable circumstances include but are not limited to:

• Voluntary withdrawal from the program at any stage
• Failure to complete the program within the required timeframe
• Failure to pass the NREMT cognitive or psychomotor examination
• Failure to clear the DACS criminal background check
• Failure to obtain Utah state EMT or AEMT licensure for any reason
• Removal from the program for disciplinary or academic integrity violations
• Personal, financial, medical, or employment circumstances of the student
• Change of mind or change in personal circumstances after enrollment
• Inability to attend scheduled sessions due to scheduling conflicts

3. Deposit Policy

The $300.00 deposit reserves a single seat in a specific cohort or session at a specific start date. The deposit is non-refundable from the moment it is submitted. The seat is held exclusively for the named student and cannot be transferred to another individual.

Cohort transfer requests may be submitted in writing at least six weeks prior to the original cohort start date, are subject to availability, and are limited to one transfer per enrollment. A transfer does not constitute a refund of the deposit.

4. Subsequent Payment Stages

All payments beyond the initial deposit are non-refundable once submitted and confirmed. This includes the pre-orientation or pre-class payment and the final balance payment. These payments cover costs that are committed at the time of enrollment and cannot be recovered by 4Front ETC.

5. Chargeback and Dispute Policy

By submitting any payment to 4Front Emergency Training Center, students expressly agree to this non-refundable payment policy. Students who initiate a payment dispute or chargeback with their financial institution or payment processor contrary to this policy will be considered in breach of the enrollment agreement.

4Front ETC reserves the right to pursue recovery of disputed funds through all available legal means and to report the matter to the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and the Utah Bureau of Emergency Medical Services as appropriate.

6. Processing Surcharges

A 3% processing surcharge applies to all payments made by credit or debit card through Stripe. No surcharge applies to payments made by cash or certified/cashier's check payable to 4Front Emergency Training Center. Personal checks are not accepted.

ACH bank transfer is available at checkout. ACH payments require 3 to 5 business days to clear. Deliverables dependent on payment confirmation, including Pearson access codes, will not be issued until ACH payment has fully cleared.
